Day 0 Transplant Day

Hi everyone,

This afternoon at 2:30, Lynda will receive her stem cell transplant. The doctors call today “Day 0” — the start of a new chapter and a second chance at life. It’s often described as a new birthday, and that feels exactly right.

The transplant itself is a straightforward procedure, but the meaning behind it is profound. Once the cells are infused, the work of recovery begins — her body will need time, care, and patience as these new cells take root and begin building a new immune system.

Reaching Day 0 has taken months of treatment, preparation, and perseverance. Now begins the important 100-day count — the critical window when her new cells grow, and doctors monitor closely for progress and complications. Each day will matter, and each prayer will carry her forward.

We are so grateful for the prayers, love, and encouragement that have carried Lynda to this point. Please keep her especially close in your thoughts and prayers this afternoon and in the days ahead.
