Update #11
Hi everyone,
After weeks of pain, exhaustion, and uncertainty, Lynda is finally starting to co■e back to life. The nausea and vo■iting that felt endless are easing, and she’s beginning to eat and drink again.
The doctors re■ain encouraged, even as her blood levels continue to fluctuate. Today’s nu■bers were down — a re■inder that this recovery isn’t a straight line — but the broader trend is still ■oving in the right direction. We’re now past Day +50 since her transplant, an i■portant ■ilestone. Her new ■arrow is taking hold, even if so■e days are slower than others. Full recovery will take six ■onths to a year as her red blood cells and he■oglobin rebuild toward a new nor■al and her energy gradually returns. We’re also trying to get her up and ■oving a little each day to start rebuilding strength.
For the first ti■e in a while, it feels like we’re gaining ground instead of just hanging on. There’s still a long road ahead, but it finally looks ■anageable. And with the Buckeyes rolling into ■ichigan week with plenty of ■o■entu■, the ■ood around here has definitely i■proved. O H !

I am in tears reading everyone’s comments. Thank you everyone! I had the honor to take care of Lynda for three days a few weeks ago while Theiler had to go home to take care of a few items. I can tell you that my sister Lynda(four years older than me to the day) is a fighter. As bad as she was feeling at times, she never once complained. Lynda is amazing to have the strength to have gone through what she has already gone through and to continue this battle. We visited her last week and she was definitely improving physically and mentally. Yes it is baby steps with sometime two steps forward and a half step back as Theiler mentioned. Theiler has been doing a great job with nursing Lynda back as this is obviously very hard on him and the entire family. You rock Theiler! I so look forward to the kids visiting for Thanksgiving. That will be a boost as well. Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers for Lynda. It means so much! Lynda, you amaze me with your strength and courage. I love you. Your little brother.
❤️🥰😍🙏💕😘🙏

To all my friends and family,
These comments mean so much to me and truly lift my spirits when times seem rough. I am feeling a lot better though with less nausea. I am beginning to tolerate more food. My go to has been Liptons Chicken Noodle soup. I tried pizza last night since Rachael is in town, but it didn’t taste good to me even though Rach liked it. I am doing my best to try new foods.
The cards and messages have been so uplifting, so please know how much I appreciate them. You are wonderful people!
Hugs to all of you.
Lynda
🙌🙌🙌So glad to see you smiling!!!!🥰
That is the #1 reason for me to be grateful today. You are on my mind daily. I am so sorry for the rough road you have traveled, and that you continue to have an uphill road to climb yet. You are loved by so many – hoping that makes this journey of yours a bit easier. ♥️
This update makes me so thankful on this Thanksgiving Day, Greg! Lynda, keep fighting and keep the faith – so many people are cheering you on! Sending prayers, lots of positivity, and faith that more good health milestones will be met.
Love,
Debi
Sending prayers from the Winker families in Tomahawk. Neale, Peg, Steve, and I spend many afternoons together on our patio, sharing stories and memories. When we gather, you are always in our thoughts, and in our hearts. Sally keeps us informed the best she can, and we are grateful to hear of your progress. I wanted you to know that you have many people way up here thinking of you, and sending prayers for strength and a full recovery. 💗
